Charlton Kings

Built in 1928 and initially known as Diamond Sanitary Laundry, the factory and dry-cleaning shop on Newcourt Road in Charlton Kings, just outside Cheltenham, became a Paragon laundry in 1973 as part of the Southern Laundry acquisition.

Though a successful laundry for many years, facilities closed down in 1996 after the site became unsuitable for the demanding rigours of processing commercial laundry. The site was then sold as part of the consolidation of the groups’ smaller laundries.
