A laundry since 1899, Paragon purchased the Southern Laundry site on Haydon Street in 1972. Parts of the building are Grade II Listed. Notably, the Swindon team signed a contract in 1993 to supply & launder uniforms to Honda UK who were based in the city. The team formed such a strong relationship that an in-house Paragon Uniform Department was set up directly within the Honda factory at Highworth Road in South Marston. Paragon also ran shops on Victoria Road in Old Town in ‘the heart of the Swindon’.

Due to the growth and volumes of work required, and the expansion of our Cheltenham laundry, Swindon’s processing moved to our Hatherley Road site in the late 1990’s, and the sites on Victoria Road and Haydon Street closed and subsequently sold in the mid-2000’s, however the inhouse office at Highworth Road remains servicing Honda staff to this day.
