Westgate Motor House
The site at Westgate was purchased in the late 1930’s and was renowned for the wide range of services it offered. The sprawling site housed a bodyshop and its franchises included some notable, historic car manufacturers. Many a Triumph, Jaguar and Aston Martin could be found for sale on the forecourt, before the merging of British Leyland, alongside several other of the groups forecourts throughout Gloucester.
The site was sold to Blade Motors in 1997 and remains a dealership to this day.
