The laundry on Taunton Road first began operating at the turn of the century, becoming a fully fledged member of the Paragon family in 1977 when a fire gutted the plant and Paragon rescued the existing business, rebuilding a brand new laundry facility and a dry-cleaning shop on the site that opened in 1979.
After successfully trading for 30 years, the laundry was incredibly unfortunate in suffering another catastrophic fire in 2009. The site was sold a few years later with operations relocated to a brand new laundry in Yeovil.
